The greenfield fertilizer plant of Sorfert Algérie is currently under construction and due for commissioning in 2011.
When completed, the facility will be capable of producing 0.8 million tons anhydrous ammonia and 1.2 million tonnes of granular urea annually.
Located in the industrial zone of Arzew, Sorfert is set to become one of the largest fertilizer exporters on the Mediterranean Sea.
