We have investments in three operational fertilizer plants, with a fourth and fifth under construction. When all plants are operational we will manufacture ammonia, granulated urea and nitrates in Egypt, the Netherlands, the United States and Algeria. We also have an investment in a global fertilizer trader.
We produce the following nitrogen-based fertilizers:
- Anhydrous ammonia: 1.15 million tons annually
- Granular urea: 1.3 million tons annually
- Calcium ammonium nitrate (CAN): 1.15 million tons annually
- Urea ammonium nitrate (UAN): 0.2 million tons annually
We are also the largest global producer of Melamine with 0.25 million tons of annual capacity.
By the end of 2012 our capacities will increase to:
- Anhydrous ammonia: 2.2 million tons annually
- Granular urea: 2.8 million tons annually
- CAN: 1.35 million tons annually
- UAN: 0.25 million tons annually
- Melamine: 0.25 million tons annually
- Methanol: 0.75 million tons annually
