The fertilizer plant of Notore Chemical Industries will be capable of producing 0.5 million tonnes of granulated urea annually when it recommences operations. The plant is currently being rehabilitated.
The plant, with its own export jetty, is strategically located at Onne on the Atlantic Ocean. It is the only fertilizer manufacturer in Nigeria.
